Below are links to simple Zoom video tutorials.

Each month SCCSS members are sent an email containing a link to the Zoom meeting. Members can click on the link to join the meeting directly, you DO NOT need to enter the meeting ID as suggested in many online Zoom tutorials.

If you don’t have a camera or a microphone you can still join a meeting. You will be able to see and hear the speaker and view their wonderful presentation, but you will not be able to communicate with other members except by using the chat feature.

You do not need to sign up for a Zoom account to join a meeting, but signing up for a basic account is free and allows settings to be saved.
It is recommended that you download the Zoom app, although if using a desktop, laptop, or Chromebook you can use Zoom in your browser without downloading.

If you don’t find what you need below there are many tutorial videos on YouTube, you can search YouTube for “Download Zoom”, “Join Zoom”, etc. or to be more specific “Download Zoom for Windows”, “Download Zoom for Mac”, etc. Some of them are good and some are a waste of time.

If this is your first time using Zoom it’s a good idea to use the “Test Zoom” link found at the bottom of the page https://zoom.us/. Here is a short video showing the test feature  Test Zoom Demo.

Note that Zoom is similar on all devices, laptops, tablets, phones, etc. The list below is not complete partly because videos for some devices couldn’t be found, for example Android tablets, which work almost the same as Android phones. You might want to watch several videos to understand the process.

This video shows how to join an SCCSS Zoom meeting without downloading any software.
Note that it only works on desktop and laptop computers.
The meeting is joined using a web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.
