The South Coast Cactus and Succulent Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization operating in the Los Angeles area of California in the United States of America [Map]. The Society is an affiliate of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America and the California Garden Clubs of California, Inc. (CGCI).

Mission

Formed in 1972, the aim is to promote an interest in and an appreciation of cacti and other succulents. The Society sponsors programs that educate members on plant propagation, cultivation, and identification, and on how to exhibit their plants. Succulent enthusiasts are encouraged to interact socially, share their knowledge and experiences, and have fun doing it. The Society supports the activities of organizations whose goals include the conservation of cacti and succulents in their native habitats.
