Announcement from the Inter-City Committee …
It is time again for our hobby’s largest event of the year. A little competition, a little shopping, and a lot of comradery! Come join your fellow plant enthusiasts in the Inter-City Cactus & Succulent Show & Sale held this year on August 4th, 5th, & 6th, 2023.
Calling All Plants! We would love to get back to the years of 2500 plant entries in one room! You do not have to be a member of the host clubs, encourage your non-club friends to exhibit as well! Simple rules in the attached “schedule”.
Please pick up your Entry Tags at your club’s July meetings. Please print the attached show schedule with all the plant classes so you can pick one for each (we hope) class ahead of time! Remember that we give out Sweepstakes pots as an award for people who get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the same plant class.
Please remember to see your club volunteer coordinator to sign up for your favorite task! We are in particular need for the Friday 8-11am shift.
Please remember to RSVP for our Awards Dinner on Saturday night. We will be returning to the pre-pay only method of old, due to sell-out demand. Details below.
Grab your shirt from your club because the price goes up at the show to $20.

Show set up- Table set-up starts at 9am Wednesday August 2nd. We would love your Help!
Plant entry is Wednesday August 2nd 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday August 3rd 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Friday August 4th 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Sale- AUGUST 4th, 5th, & 6th, 2023. 8am to 5pm each day.
Show- AUGUST 5th & 6th, 2023. 8am to 5pm each day.
Dinner- Saturday AUGUST 5th. Social hour at 5pm, dinner at 6pm. Elevated taco bar including dessert and soft drinks. MUST Pre-pay by check or money order mailed to 501 San Luis Rey Road Arcadia, CA 91007. Priority is given to show participants. Absolutely no begging at the last minute (sorry), please plan ahead.

Advanced Arboretum tickets required for those not personally entering plants or volunteering.
Parking- Volunteers and anyone staying all day, please park in “employee parking”. Every spot we can free up is a spot for a customer or two. This year, the Arboretum Gate monitors will be enforcing this request.
